This live online course is an introduction to the main themes of Dallas’s final academic book, The Disappearance of Moral Knowledge. Over eight weeks, we will survey the main ideas and arguments from the book, and put them into dialogue with some of Dallas's other academic and popular writings, as well as with writings from other authors, from Plato to James Davison Hunter and Julie Reuben.
All readings are optional, and electronic copies are included in the cost of the course. No background in philosophy is required or assumed.
